No. It is important to point out that we will be working with small numbers of children who are in mainstream schools and who will continue to spend time in those schools every week. Acorn is neither a behavioural school nor a special school. Some pupils can benefit from time in a different setting, with more intensive support from staff with the right skills and experience. This is what we offer, supporting youngsters to drive up standards of achievement with positive staffing ratios to allow rapid progress.
